It is the first recovery day of the week, with day one, week seven of the 2022 RunBlogRun Fall Cross Country Training & Racing Program.
Yesterday, Emily Sisson set the new AR at the marathon of 2:18.29. In high school, Emily thrived on cross country and indoor track. Soon after college, and moving up to the 10,000m, Emily saw her future, the marathon and has stuck with it.
Your workout today is a warm-up, 45-55 minutes on soft trails, and then, six times 150 meter strideouts, plus a good cooldown.
